Just got my Journal fixed...So thought I would upload it and give it a try...Thanks to Steven it is looking great once again!
It is certainly a Day here to be working on my posering....Rain, rain rain...But can't be sitting to long at my desk because of my legs- I am not sure if I had Mentioned before or not- but I have Lymphedema In my legs and the left being the worst of the both.
What Is Lymphedema?

Lymphedema is an abnormal buildup of fluid that causes swelling, most often in the arms or legs. The condition develops when lymph vessels or lymph nodes are missing, impaired, damaged, or removed.

There are two types of lymphedema: primary and secondary. Primary lymphedema is rare and is caused by the absence of certain lymph vessels at birth, or abnormalities in the lymphatic vessels. Secondary lymphedema occurs as a result of a blockage or interruption that alters the flow of lymph through the lymphatic system and can develop from an infection, malignancy, surgery, scar tissue formation, trauma, deep vein thrombosis (blood clot in a vein), radiation, or other cancer treatment.

Mine has been an ongoing thing and has been there all my life- worse these last past 10 years though- and being obese isn't a help to it- But it is sooo hard to do the things that I really want to do- I am so ashamed of my legs that I will NOT wear a skirt or shorts- even in the hottest weather...I have ulcers on the bad one that is not healing...
Ok you would think that there is a easy way to fix this - exercise and diet....yes BUT have you ever had to bring (drag and 60 lb ) weight on each leg around with you ?...it isn't easy and it is so depressing........I have had so many infections and a few that were life threatening because of this condition..With my last bout of cellulitis- the infection had traveled to my blood stream ....I was really sick....

I am waiting to hear back from the Doctors that said they would help - nothing yet though....Grrrr- It is sooo frustrating!

Sorry about the ranting - lol but it is a rainy day and you know what that can do?.......lol

And if you read this far- then it must be raining where you are as well - haha
